Banana Pudding Pie 

Ingredients: – 1 9-inch pie crust, baked and cooled – 3 ripe bananas, sliced – 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix

– 1 3/4 cups cold milk – 1 cup heavy cream – 2 tablespoons powdered sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – Optional toppings: whipped cream, banana slices, crushed vanilla wafer

Instructions: 1. Prepare the instant vanilla pudding according to the package instructions, using the cold milk. Allow it to set in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes. 2. Once the pudding has set, fold in half of the sliced bananas.

1. Pour the banana pudding mixture into the baked and cooled pie crust, spreading it out evenly. 2. Arrange the remaining banana slices on top of the pudding layer.

1. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. 2. Spread the whipped cream over the top of the pie, covering the banana slices.

1. If desired, garnish the pie with additional banana slices and crushed vanilla wafers. 2. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours before serving to allow it to set.
