Two Toned Cabinets
I love the idea of two toned cabinets. Over the recent years, the two color kitchen cabinet trend has been holding strong. Kitchens today are much larger than they used to be, which allows for more creativity and design in a space. If the look of your kitchen has started to bore you or you simply want a change, two toned cabinets should be on top of your list!
Lighter upper cabinets help make the kitchen feel more spacious, especially if the uppers have glass doors. A darker, bolder island acts as focal point and adds drama to a space. Personally I think the two toned trend looks best on the more modern style/shaker style cabinets.
I love white kitchens; that was one of the major selling points of our house. White kitchen? Done. My second favorite cabinet option would have to be some variation of the two-toned trend. It’s so versatile it can really be used with almost any style and decor. Two-toned kitchens can be the perfect touch in any style from Contemporary to Farmhouse.
I couldn’t end this post without addressing this unfortunate fail. I’m sorry but this one missed the mark…
